Software Engineer 1 - Inertial Navigation Sensor Engineer

exciting in-car technologies to auto manufacturers around the globe. We are looking for a full
time Software Engineer 1 - INS Engineer in our Diamond Bar, CA office who is
interested in focusing on GNSS Aided Inertial Navigation Systems (INS)
and Multi-Sensor Data Fusion technologies to produce cutting edge
positioning solutions to serve our OEM customers. In addition to serving as a
software engineer for software development in Matlab and C , this Engineer
will design and/or review architected modules and software system supporting
new technology or improving capability/performance of existing functionality.
Senior software engineers in our advanced algorithm team will also:
Research fundamental problems and implement algorithm
solutions that are appropriate
Design, implement and test complex software modules
using Matlab and C
Participate in peer reviews in areas of software
designs, algorithm designs and software development
Work with team lead to develop technology road map as
directed by the management team
Contribute to advanced technical research and
development in positioning technologies for automotive navigation
Independently determine general approach and specific solutions
to technical problems
Offer process improvement suggestions and author new
procedures as appropriate

Candidates for this role should
possess a Master of Science Degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Applied
Science, Applied Math, Physics, Computer Science, Geomatics, or Electrical
Engineering or another relevant engineering/technical field OR Bachelor
of Science Degree in any of the fields noted above AND a
minimum of 5 years? relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education
and relevant experience plus a cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a
general rule.Qualified candidates will also
demonstrate proficiency with designing well architected software systems and
modules that support new technology or improve capability/performance of
existing functionality and competence with researching fundamental problems and
implementing appropriate algorithmic solutions. Demonstrated ability to serve
as a lead software engineer for a complex software project and the ability to
decompose functional requirements into well-defined tasks while balancing
quality, quantity and complexity in work output are also required. Other
requirements for this role include:
Demonstrated capability to work as a strong team player
who is able to work independently with high level direction and minimal
day to day supervision
Must possess proficiency in writing software in C/C
as appropriate for performing the essential functions of this job
Must possess relevant education and/or experience in
software design, development and maintenance, as required for the
successful performance of the essential functions of the position
Candidates with demonstrated
knowledge/coursework/experience in GNSS aided Inertial Navigation Systems
(INS), Strapdown Navigation, and Multi-Sensor Data Fusion are preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
