Associate Test Engineer ( Search and Security )

The challenge The Associate Test Engineer role is responsible for assisting Development Teams to deliver products with outstanding quality. You will champion quality in all aspects of your team's SDLC by developing expert knowledge of Liferay and its users, development and execution of resilient and effective test cases and test plans, performing client based risk analysis, applying risk mitigation techniques, and participating in team planning and grooming sessions. The ideal candidate for the Associate Test Engineer role has experience working with Search related technologies (e.g. ElasticSearch, SOLR, etc.) and/or SSO technologies (e.g. SAML, OAuth 2, etc.). The candidate should also have prior experience working as a Test Engineer on a cross-functional team. What you'll do Write clear, concise, and thoroughly investigated defect reports Communicate effectively with the Test and Developer Leads to understand priorities and goals Write Test Plans for new features based on established risk profiles and use cases Develop new automated or manual test cases as needed Update existing manual or automated tests as needed Execute testing of test cases as needed Contribute to overall Test Strategy for the development team as defined by the Test Lead Work directly with developers throughout the development process, providing support for development efforts from pull request to final merge Work with or implement basic Continuous Integration tooling and processes Other tasks as assigned What you need to succeed and grow ISTQB Foundation level certification or equivalent test practice experience Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills to break down complex problems A willingness to continuously learn and get better Strong self-management and organizational skills Experience developing automated tests (e.g. Webdriver, Cucumber, etc.) following maintainable design patterns (e.g. Page Object, etc.) using common scriptinglanguages (e.g. Ruby, Python, etc.) Experience working with Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.) as part of an Agile Testing methodology Has strong practical knowledge of SCM/VCS' (Git / Mercurial / SVN) and related experience working with Github based development Experience using Issue Management systems (e.g. JIRA, etc.).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
