Engineer/Project Coordinator (entry level)

Tetra Tech BAS has an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator/Entry-Level Engineer in our Environmental Remedial Construction division.? ?This is a full-time position based in Diamond Bar, California.? ?In this role, you will?assist the?Director of, Remediation in?a wide variety of remediation and construction projects and bid requests.? ?Candidate should have specific interest or experience in groundwater monitoring, environmental assessment and remediation.? Strong oral and written skills with project management and administrative skills?are required to manage multiple projects during separate phases. ?Must be a self-starter and highly organized. ?Basic AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills and experience reading and preparing engineering drawings is required. ?EIT certification a plus.?

Responsibilities and requirements include:

  • BS degree in construction management, civil/environmental engineering or a related field and 0-2 years of experience.?

  • Construction, remediation and demolition experience are strongly preferred, but not required.

  • Project management, coordination and organization skills to schedule jobs simultaneously, track costs, monitor project performance, etc.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractors/vendors.

  • Strong work ethic, problem solving and organizational skills required.

  • Previous experience submitting/reviewing RFPs, with relevant cost estimating experience, manpower resource loading and production calculations are helpful.?

  • Ability to work in the field overseeing construction work required. Knowledge of safe work practices and the ability to train field employees on corporate safety guidelines a plus.

  • Proficiency with MS Suite, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D highly desired.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to commit and meet tight deadlines.?

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
